I have nearly 35 years experience in the corporate financial sector and have spent most of my career in industry and commerce holding various key Financial Director positions in businesses with turnovers up to £100 million. Originally qualifying in 1982 with a big four firm, I quickly gained a wealth of “hands on” experience with major acquisitions, disposals, due diligence and management buyouts. Moreover, I have raised bank funding from the majority of UK banks as well as funding from the private equity sector. These experiences put me in good stead in this current economic climate.

My financial expertise and understanding of the commercial sector ensures I am particularly well-equipped to advise on fast growth companies, turnarounds, corporate restructurings and startups. My ability to advise and assist on a diverse range of financial business complexities culminated in my earning the prestigious award of Financial Director of the Year in 2000. This experience as an advisor with many “deals under my belt” adds credibility to any funding proposal and provides long-established contacts with financing resources.

Having been involved on a whole range of corporate transactions involving owner managers, management teams and related financiers, I still get a “buzz” out of advising and guiding on the do’s and don’ts of buying and selling businesses. I am motivated, energetic, action orientated and driven by achieving results. In short, I am a “go to” Corporate Finance Director.
